During the COVID-19 outbreak, the world needs our service. Here’s how you can magnify your calling in these turbulent times.
During the COVID-19 outbreak, how can we magnify our callings if we can’t meet together?
Sister Sharon Eubank, the first counselor in the Relief Society General Presidency, sheds light on this issue in her recent blog post on ChurchofJesusChrist.org entitled “Humanitarian = Ministering = Love.” She says, “At its core, ministering is a tenderness; an ability to see someone for who they are at their best and a willingness to help them with anything they want or need in order to be better.” We may not be able to deliver cookies or meet in person right now, but we can strive to find other ways to meet the needs of those we serve.
One way we can fulfill our callings is by spreading the word about service opportunities. My mother, a stake Relief Society president in Arizona, told the sisters in her stake about an opportunity on the JustServe website to sew colorful masks for hospital workers. The service touched the lives of the hospital workers, those who served, and everyone who saw the Relief Society sisters’ efforts in the news.

Virtual meetings are another way we can serve. We can play online games like Kahoot!, Quiplash, Psych!, and Just Dance Now; teach a skill like origami or yoga; study the scriptures or general conference; or watch devotionals online together. These activities can help those we serve have fun, learn, and feel the spirit together with other young adults while staying healthy.
As you strive to fulfill your calling during this time of crisis, you can find strength in the following words from Sister Eubank: “As we deal with viruses and disasters and personal heartaches—ministering is the way the Lord sends us to each other.”

i like this article, For more than a year, the whole planet is suffering from the corona pandemic. It caused a lot of panic, fear, and anxiety.
People started to worry more about themselves, their families, and their beloved ones, which led them to take some more protective actions.
A lot of our daily routine has changed; staying home is all we can do now. And if we have to go out a lot of precautions must be taken.
