In a world overflowing with opinions and uncertainty, we are reminded that the clearest answers are found in Jesus Christ.
Everywhere we turn, people seem to be telling us how to fix our lives, whether they’re giving advice on how to stop a bad habit, be successful at work, improve family relationships, or strengthen our faith. We are constantly searching for the so-called right solutions. In the midst of these voices, we can easily forget the most effective remedy. In his talk “The Answer is Jesus,” Elder Ryan K. Olsen reminds us of the remedy: “The answer is Jesus Christ. Every solution is found in Him.”

The world we live in often brushes aside the idea of Christ supporting us, insisting that the answer cannot be that simple. We are taught that complicated problems require complicated solutions and that we should be able to solve everything on our own. Further, one of Satan’s most effective tactics is to make us feel alone, overwhelmed, and confused. Elder Olsen teaches us that this confusion is not accidental. He invites us to “remember that the adversary, even the father of all lies, is the architect of confusion. The Savior is the Master of simplicity.”
Through Christ, we can find peace, clarity, faith, and direction. As we rely on Christ, our priorities become clearer and more meaningful. In a world that convinces us we need to have all of the answers, the Savior reminds us that we do not have to know everything on our own. He asks us simply to trust him and follow him, the most effective remedy.
