We at Latter-day Saint Insights are excited to announce our Spring 2026 Writing Contest. The theme for this contest is based on a speech that was given by President Dallin H. Oaks at the University of Virginia in 2021 titled, “Going Forward with Religious Freedom and Nondiscrimination.” Thus, we introduce our theme:
“How have the teachings of Jesus Christ helped you make peace with those who are different from you?”
We invite you to write a short essay (250–500 words) in which you share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences on this topic.
