“Repentance is real and it works.” —Elder Allen D. Haynie

“We do not strive for conversion to the Church but to Christ and his gospel.” —Elder D. Todd Christofferson

“If our lives are centered on Jesus Christ, he can successfully mold us into who we need to be.” —Elder Richard J. Maynes

These were just some of the many inspirational messages given at this year’s general conference. We not only heard powerful quotes, but we also listened to uplifting stories and testimonies.

Potter’s clay. Three new apostles. The Spirit of God. This October’s general conference lifted and inspired millions of us as we watched and listened through radio, television, and the Internet.

Some cried with Sister Neill F. Marriott as she spoke about losing her 21-year-old daughter and knowing “it will all work out.”

Others laughed with President Russell M. Nelson as he described the sweet correction in a question from his late wife, Dantzel, “Are you finished crying?”

Many watched as President Thomas S. Monson persevered through his remarks Sunday morning.

Where were you during general conference?

We do not have to wait six months to be uplifted again. The text and video of every talk given in the October 2015 general conference is available on Challenge yourself to retain and remember the messages shared. Think of friends or family in need who could gain strength from hearing these words again. Listen to the music, and most importantly, listen to what the Spirit will teach you once more.
